Ilha Grande: Sul da Ilha

Here we will visit the southern bit of the Island. This area is the closer one to Paraty, which gives us a shorter sailing time and allows us to stay longer on our stops. We will reach remote locations with incomparable beauties.

Ilha Grande: Around the Island

What a blessed place Ilha Grande is. It counts more then 100 beaches where some of those are considered worldwide beauties. In an extended itinerary, we will sail from Paraty towards Ilha Grande and will get to know this paradise.

Experience: Caiçara Culture

We want you to feel and understand what being a Caiçara means. In this truly authentic experience, we will visit a traditional fisherman village, learn about their costumes, understand how the handmade art is crafted, visit a centenary Flour House and then finish with a Cachaça Tasting at a Cachaça distillery. You will have time to jump in the water too!

Here we developed a itinerary for those who wants to spend longer time in the bay. There’s pretty much no time limit on this itinerary, the only limit here is the safety limit, that means we will not sail at night so we can bring you back safe to Paraty. We would never risk your safety!

We will climb up the Pão de Açúcar peak on a true adventure run pace, enjoy the view, run the trail down and then jump on a sea kayak to paddle towards the Mamanguá’s Mangrove! It’s breath taking, beautiful and challenging. Both the view of the peak and bathing on Rio Negro’s waterfall will pay our efforts off.

Please be aware that this itinerary requires a strong fitness condition. It is suggested to experienced adventurers.

Here are our Red Paddle Stand-up paddling boards at your disposal. We will leave from Paraty , either on our 20 or on our 29 feet boats and stop at the best points for paddling on the bay. We encourage you to do the full paddle around the Pescaria Island. It’s beautiful!

Actve: Reaching the Peak

Are you ready? Ready to sweat? Ready to hike up the mountain? The Reaching the Peak itinerary allows us to experience one of the most stunning views in Brasil, the Pão de Açucar Peak at Saco do Mamanguá.

To reach the Peak we’ll sail from Paraty to Saco do Mamanguá and start the hike on a rather steep trail. This itinerary requires good physical conditions as it goes steeply up through a 1.9km trail reaching 500 meters height.

Classic: Underwater
